Supporter
Supporters have the the lowest level of functionality and access. By default, new users will be classed as Supporters.
- Functionality: Very limited. View home page incl. Welcome video, sign confidentiality / volunteer agreement.
- Data access: View and edit their own data, including contact and personal information.
Select what they are interested in, how they want to help or contribute to the organisation, and what they need.
To get more involved supporters must agree to the volunteer agreement, at which point they
will be automatically upgraded to a Contributor. You can edit the volunteer confidentiality
agreement under Organisation Settings > Invite & Manage Users.
Contributor
Once your new users have signed the volunteer confidentiality agreement,
they will become Contributors. Contributors will make up the majority of your members. They are the foot soldiers of your movement.
- Functionality: All Supporter functionality plus: the ability to take action (do tasks) in support of your organisation, join teams, view team discussions, browse your contacts to find their friends.
- Data access: View and edit their own data, including contact and personal information. Select what they are interested in, how they want to help or contribute to the organisation, and what they need.
Team Leader
You will have team leaders for each of your teams. They are responsible for the work of their teams.
They have specific functionality and data privileges focused on their team.
- Functionality: All Contributor functionality plus: the ability to edit their team (name, description, notes,
make people team leaders), and contact members of their team via email or phone. They can also assign actions/tasks to
their team members. Team leaders will be notified when Contributors join their team.
- Data access: All Contributor data access plus: the ability to see and edit all data (other than donation data)
of their team members. This includes contact information, address, interests, custom tags and interactions.
Manager
Managers are responsible for the overall running of the campaign. They have broad functionality and data privileges focused on their team.
- Functionality: All functionality, including assigning tasks to people; editing
onboarding tasks and the action board; editing teams and team members and leaders; adding,
editing and removing contacts; contacting people; add and edit outside organisations; view performance analytics; adjust organisational settings.
The only functionality they do not have is the ability to view or adjust organisational billing settings.
- Data access: Managers can view all data.
Owners
Owners have access to all functionality and data.
